Learning on the way to work
A common trait in Latin American cities is the long journey workers travel daily in public transportation back and forth from home to their working places. These hours represent a high percentage of the lifetime of thousands of human beings, a time that is now being taken advantage of in Bogotá.
The Colombian capital is embarking in a clever educational system that allows bus and train passengers to receive lectures on a variety of subjects on the radio, listening while on their way. Lectures are given, as well as practical exercises on different topics, providing a daily learning opportunity while on their way.
